Have you ever wanted your iPhone photos to look twice as cool by using a reflection? Do you get it? Twice... as in the object is in there twice, twice as cool… While I work on some better “jokes”… continue reading here to learn about making your photos more dynamic!
Today I am going to show you how to use even the shallowest tiniest, little puddle to create more compelling images using reflections.
In this tutorial, I'm going to be using my iPhone Pro 11. You can also use an iPhone X or any older version of a smartphone camera. It would be helpful if you had the extra lenses on the back to kind of play around with the perspective of your photo, but it is not required.
What you need for this tutorial is:
1. A puddle. It can be really shallow. The one I'm using is a 1/2 inch deep.
2. A subject that you love and want to see twice as much.
3. A smartphone.
Go get your subject, your iPhone, find a puddle and watch this video...
